Commissioned for the 2009 Nuit Blanche all-night art festival in Toronto, Sounding Space turned the north Scotiabank plaza in the city's core into a giant music controller.

The festival's participants interacted with a new kind of instrument, one that converted their movement through the normally staid space in the city's financial distric into music.
